ANNUAL N.C. SPOT FESTIVAL ART & CRAFT SHOW

               September 25^th – 26^th, 2010

Show Information:  

The N.C. Spot Festival committee invites you to apply to the Annual Art & Craft Show to be held in beautiful Hampstead , N.C.

ADVERTISING: We are COMMITTED to timely print ads in local and regional newspapers, calendar of events, Internet, public announcements, lists in print, TV and Radio broadcasting.

DATES/HOURS:    Saturday, September 25^th, 2010 from 10:00 - 6:00 PM .
                               Sunday, September 26^th, 2010 from 10:00 - 5:00 PM

REGISTRATION and SET-UP: Starts on Saturday, September 26^th, AFTER 6:00AM . No exhibitor vehicles are allowed in the craft area after 9:30 AM . You must register before setting up. Friday set-up after 4PM is available with advance request. Security will be provided on Friday evening.

MEDIA: This is a juried show open to quality crafts and selected arts. Limited edition prints signed and numbered are acceptable NO BUY/SELL ALLOWED.

JURYING: Applications will be juried through August. Prior exhibitors are NOT

Automatically accepted. Applicants must submit 5 pictures, 3 pictures of current work, 1 picture of booth setup or explain booth set-up, and one of your process/workshop. Label each picture with artist’s name, media. Your booth will be rejuried during the festival and your booth picture will then be returned.

ACCEPTANCE: Your cancelled check is your notification of acceptance to our festival. All rejected applications will have your checks returned to you. Final show information with booth number etc. will be mailed by the end of August.

RULES: A list of rules is enclosed with your application. The rules will be enforced. The committee has the right to exclude any exhibitor not abiding by the rules, to limit the entries in any category, to remove any work considered inappropriate or not consistent with the rules. No refunds to accepted artists.

BOOTH FEE: Each booth space is 12’ x 14’ and the cost is $100.00 per regular space and $125.00 per corner space. Late fee is $25.00 Electricity is $15.00. Make money order or cashiers check payable to the NC Spot Festival.

DEADLINE: Applications must be received no later than August 6^th, 2010 . It is to your advantage to APPLY EARLY as it increases your chance of becoming an exhibitor and gaining your space.
